Local charities invited to appeal for Irish Jog Funds

(Grand Cayman – 28 December, 2016) The 25th annual St. Patrick’s Day 5k Irish Jog will be hosted by Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited and Dart Enterprises in 2017.

Taking place on St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, 17 March 2017, this milestone anniversary for the Irish Jog is set to be a very special event, with a new partnership. “We’re pleased to be able to partner with Dart on our much-loved community event, and expect this year to be our best year yet” commented Michael McWatt, Managing Director of Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited.

“The Irish Jog is a well-respected, long-standing family tradition in the community and we’re very happy to be getting involved in its milestone 25th year to help raise funds for a local charity” explained Chris Duggan, VP, Dart Enterprises, “We look forward to being a part of this great event for many years to come”.

Local charities are invited to send letters of request to be considered as the recipient of the funds raised by the fun run to by Friday, 6 January 2017. Representatives from Butterfield and Dart will review all of the requests and announce the recipient charity in early January 2017.

More information on the Irish Jog will be released in the New Year.
