Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited recently welcomed a new member to its
Credit Services Department. Tracie Lee-Wah joined the Bank as a Manager in the
Corporate Banking division, which focuses primarily on managing financing and
investment relationships for business customers.
Originally from Toronto, Canada but with a Trinidadian heritage, Tracie joins
Butterfield Bank from a role in the Financial Restructuring Group at TD Canada
Trust following several management positions in Commercial Banking. Prior to
that, her years at RBC Royal Bank provided the experience in becoming a
successful sales and credit professional. Tracie’s responsibilities have
included business development, portfolio growth, divisional strategy, training,
sales management and credit structuring across various markets.
In her new role as a Manager in Corporate Banking, Tracie will service and
grow a portfolio of corporate business relationships with significant borrowing
requirements or more specialised financial needs. In addition, she will seek and
develop new relationships with key individuals on Grand Cayman to reinforce
Butterfield’s continued commitment to the business community.
“Corporate Banking is a key area of growth for Butterfield and I will be
using my extensive professional experience in this area to develop the bank’s
relationships with new and existing corporate customers,” said Tracie.
Tracie holds a Business degree and designation in Human Resources Management
both from York University, Canada and recently completed a teaching
certification in Adult Learning. She is a life-long learner, advocate in giving
back to the community and is committed to combining her professional development
with her responsibilities as a wife and mother of two children.
