Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited announced today that Christopher Duggan has
been appointed as Manager and Head of the company’s new Private Banking
division. The department was recently established to better serve the bank’s
high net worth clients who require a more personal approach to their financial
requirements and it will be closely aligned with the Butterfield Group Private
Banking offices located in London, Guernsey, Switzerland, Bahamas, Bermuda, Hong
Kong and Malta.
Christopher has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services
industry and has held various management positions at Butterfield Bank since
2003 which, he says, have prepared him very well for what will be one of the
more challenging roles of his career to date. “In addition to my primary
role of developing and implementing the Bank's overall Private Banking strategy
and overseeing the delivery of our comprehensive services to better serve our
Private Banking clients, I will also be heavily involved in business development
and marketing of the Private Banking services,” said Christopher.
Butterfield Private Banking offers a full range of wealth management,
banking and trust services that are delivered through a service that is both
tailor-made and relationship-driven. “Whether our customers’ needs are simple or
complex, global or local, our team of professionals will work with each one of
them to provide the very best financial solutions,” said Christopher.
“The Private Banking division is an important strategic business line
for Butterfield Bank, servicing a key sector of our customer base and the
community at large. It is a significant part of the Bank's overall, long-term
business strategy and my role in overseeing and driving the business forward
will be critical in contributing to the efforts of meeting the bank's overall
goals and objectives,” he added.
