2013 Summer Interns at Butterfield


(Grand Cayman –30 July) 2013 Butterfield is committed to the development of young people in the Cayman Islands. Each year Butterfield partners with various schools for Junior Achievement, Work Experience, and the Passport to Success Programs.

This year Butterfield has taken on a total of 17 students/interns for summer employment. The students include a group consisting of high school students, recent graduates and college students on summer break. Students are working in cross sections of the business, including: Branch Banking, Central Operations, Card Services, Electronic Banking, Human Resources, IT, Finance and Facility Management.

Butterfield’s Assistance Manager of Human Resources Laverne Jackson said “It is our privilege to assist young Caymanians with their development in the workforce that will benefit them in the future. The students are extremely beneficial in ensuring that we provide continued service to our clients while many of our staff are out on summer holidays.”
