Secure messaging is now available with Butterfield Online!
You can add or remove accounts from your Online profile, change your mailing address for statements or Stop payments. No more forms to fill in! Just log in and submit your completed secure message.
- Select Information from the main menu then Contacts.

From within the Secure Messaging section, you will have the option to select:
- Add or Remove Accounts
- Change Mailing Address for Statements
- Stop Payment Instructions
1. Add or Remove Accounts
Once you have selected the Add/Remove Account – Online Banking, the following screen will appear:

- Enter your account number
- Select either the Add Account or Remove Account option.
- Click on the Send Request.
Once the request has been sent through you will receive a confirmation screen which you can print out.

2. Change Mailing Address for Statements
Once you have selected the Change Mailing Address for Statements, the following screen will appear:

- Enter your account number, change of address, contact number and the country of tax residence and Tax ID number if applicable.
- Click on the Send Request.
Once the request has been sent through you will receive a confirmation screen which you can print out.

3. Stop Payment Instructions
Once you have selected the Stop Payment Instructions, the following screen will appear:

- Enter your account number, cheque number(s), amount, date issued, payee name and the reason for stopping payment and lastly a contact number.
- Click on the Send Request.
Please note that there is a stop payment fee of CI$20.00 or US$24.00, or in accordance the Bank's current schedule of fees for this service.
Once you have completed the form, you will receive a confirmation screen which you can print out.

Just log in and submit your completed secure message.
